Molecular Analysis – HLA B27

AgioMol™ HLA B27 looks for a protein called human leukocyte antigen B27 (HLA-B27) on the surface of white blood cells. This test is used to help diagnose autoimmune disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis, certain forms of arthritis, and anterior uveitis. The HLA-B27 test is not a definitive test that can be used to diagnose these conditions, but a positive test means HLA-B27 is present and suggests a greater-than-average risk for developing or having these autoimmune disorders.
