Molecular Analysis – Herpes (Swab)

AgioMol™ HSV1/2 – QL (swab) is a diagnostic test that detects the presence of herpes simplex virus (HSV) type 1 and type 2 in a patient's sample, usually a swab. This test is used by healthcare professionals to diagnose active HSV infections in patients who present with symptoms, such as painful blisters or sores around the mouth or genitals. This can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of antiviral treatment for HSV infections.

AgioMol™ HSV1/2 - QL (swab) is a qualitative test, which means it only provides a "yes" or "no" answer as to whether or not the virus is present in the sample. It does not provide information on the quantity of virus present or the severity of the infection.
