Molecular Analysis – Mycoplasma

Agiomix™ Mycoplasma PCR is a molecular diagnostic test that uses the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique to detect and quantify the presence of Mycoplasma bacteria in clinical samples. Mycoplasma is a group of bacteria that can cause a variety of infections in humans, including respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections. Molecular analysis using PCR allows for the detection of Mycoplasma DNA with high sensitivity and specificity. AgioMol™ Mycoplasma PCR tests the common bacteria types like Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) and Mycoplasma hominis (MH).
