Molecular Analysis – Y Chromosome Microdeletions

AgioMol™ Chromosome Microdeletions identifies deletions within the male-specific region of the Y chromosome that are associated with male infertility. This test helps to support diagnosis and determine the genetic basis of laboratory findings. This test identifies deletions of all or part of azoospermia factor chromosome regions located on the Y chromosome (Yq11), designated AZFa, AZFb, AZFc and AZFd, which are detected in approximately 5% of individuals with clinical symptoms.
